Chris Booth of Todwick CC, a familiar and friendly face around the cricket scene, whom many of you will know from games against Todwick or generally from League meetings passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer on Monday the 7th of March.

He will be sorely missed as father husband friend and team mate.

He loved his cricket and never missed a game for Todwick CC only retiring from behind the stumps 2 years ago at 70 years old.

Details of the funeral are not been made available to the wider public due to limited numbers.
