Player Registration - Forms C4/P4 (Instructions)
Category 2 - Professional
The following forms are required to be completed for professional players. Full details of this player must be supplied annually (before they are permitted to play) via this form and their registration via Play-Cricket. The Match Administrator will then ensure that the player is registered as Category 2.
No other playing member in the club, apart from the Registered Professional, shall receive financial support or services or goods of any kind from the club for playing cricket. However, the club may pay a registered playing member to undertake contractual commercial services for the club such as maintenance of premises and playing facilities. The club is required to inform the League Management Committee at the commencement of employment of the name(s) and the nature of the contractual commercial services being provided, using this form. When such services are provided, form P4 will not be required.
No contractual agreement between a registered professional and a club shall be for a period in excess of 12 months nor extend into another cricket season.
Overseas players are not permitted payment or work unless they are a Tier 5 Pro.
Form C4 is required to be submitted by the Club Chair or Secretary.
Form P4 is required to be submitted by the Player.
