- To facilitate a competitive league framework for our clubs to encourage growth in participation built around a core framework of integrity, opportunity, inclusivity, and diversity.
- Take the league forward on the principles built throughout its long history, whilst embracing changes to the structure of the game and incorporating the continuous developments in technology to administrate the game.
- Establish and maintain effective liaison and cooperation with our neighbouring recreational leagues, county club administration and junior leagues.
- Minimise costs to our member clubs by maintaining sound governance, monitoring expenditure, and making our league attractive to sponsors.
- Provide a structure to relay and maintain communications with our clubs, sponsors, and partners.
- Uphold an effective disciplinary code applied through a consistent process to ensure that all our fixtures are played in the true spirit of cricket.
- To promote and invest in junior cricket and ECB initiatives to encourage and develop junior cricket in our area.
- Work closely with our umpires association to ensure that new umpires are attracted to the league, by assisting with training provision and providing every opportunity for our umpires to achieve progression to officiate at higher levels.
