It has come to the attention of the LMC that not all games are following the hygiene guidelines. These guidelines have been provided by the ECB in conjunction with the UK Government, not by the LMC and as such need to be adhered with no negotiations or changes.
Failure to comply will result in officials cancelling games or the LMC, NCB or the ECB cancelling leagues or suspending clubs. A club has already been suspended from play in the East Midlands.
In order to speed up the process, the following tips should be utilised:

In addition, should any person not part of the fielding side come into contact with the ball, the ball must be fully sanitised prior to been allowed to be re-used. Spectators should not be returning the ball to the field of play, but if this is not possible the ball and any players that have come into contact should sanitise prior to any restart in play.
Also note that officials are within their powers to award penalty runs against both batting and fielding teams where the social distancing measures are not been undertaking.
